This is an incredible Oxford location for the price and the rooms were clean and functional including ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, and we got a refresh of tea, coffee, and water for the second day complementary. Would definitely stay here again!

The service I received was lovely! They provided a map with some things to do in Oxford, arrived promptly when I was checking in and out and storing my bags and didn't hesitate to answer my questions. My room was also very good for what I paid.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in starts at 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. Early arrivals or late departures can be arranged upon request, subject to availability. 


    Or for very early check-in, please book the previous night so your room can be ready upon arrival. 

  • Is parking available at the hotel?

    As a prime city-centre hotel, we do not have parking available. There are a host of car parks nearby however including.


    Worcester Street Car Park, Gloucester Green Car Park, Westgate Shopping Centre Car Park, or alternatively, the cheapest and best option is the Oxford Pear Tree Park & Ride if coming from M40 J9 (North) via A34, or Redbridge Park & Ride if coming from M40 J8 (South).

  • Do you provide free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel?

    Absolutely! We have Super Fast Free Wifi for all guests. Connection details available within the room. 

  • Are pets allowed at Bocardo Hotel?

    Sorry - We are not a pet friendly property. 

  • Do you have a lift?

    Unfortunatly, we do not have a lift at this property. Our rooms are located on the 1st & 2nd floor. Should you require a lift, please visit our sister property which is opposite George Street Hotel, where there is a lift and accessible room if required. 

  • Do you have a restaurant

    We are an accommodation only property, however we have discounts in several local restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner. 


    At a time when our broader hospitality collegagues are struggling, we encourage you to enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants on our doorstep before coming back to rest in our comfortable bedrooms.

  • Can I check in online?

    You can complete your pre-arrival check in from the message sent to you. If you need to do this please ensure we have your mobile number in advance of check in. Then simply collect your key from reception

  • Do you offer Express Check Out

    Yes. Simply check out via the messaging system or the Kiosk in reception, leaving your key card in the box provided.
